Scope Of Work
The Bier Library (TBL) has long been a beloved brewery in Bengaluru, known for its handcrafted beers and vibrant community atmosphere. However, as it expanded into a sprawling 60,000 sq. ft. space, there was an opportunity to strengthen the brand’s narrative and create a more immersive connection between its identity, mascot, and space.
While the original branding was developed by multiple agencies, it lacked a cohesive brand story—particularly with the mascot, POPO, a bird introduced later for communication purposes but without a clear tie to the brand’s physical presence.
Our goal was to bridge this gap, ensuring that POPO’s story became integral to The Bier Library’s identity, transforming the space into an immersive extension of the brand’s ethos and storytelling.
Brand Evolution & Story Integration
• At the entrance, a massive 20-foot-high 3D mural introduces POPO as the central figure of The Bier Library—a traveler through culture and time who has mastered the art of brewing across civilizations.
• Throughout the space, murals and portraits of POPO reinforce the idea that The Bier Library is his home, a collection of his knowledge, and a place where he communicates his story.
• This integration of the mascot into the spatial experience not only strengthens brand recall but also creates an engaging, memorable experience for visitors.
Visual Identity & Brand Consistency
• Building on TBL’s original branding, we refined beer labels, coasters, and packaging, ensuring a more cohesive design system.
• A Kannada adaptation of the logo was introduced to enhance local connection, ensuring that signage and branding were seamlessly integrated across the space.
• The color palette and typography were refined to align with TBL’s evolving personality, maintaining a playful yet sophisticated tone.
